damnous, a. Law.|ˈdæmnəs| [ad. L. damnōs-us, f. damnum hurt, harm, damage: see -ous.] Of the nature of a damnum, i.e. causing loss or damage of any kind, whether involving a legal wrong (injury) or not. Hence ˈdamnously adv.
