cuneus, n. Anat. Brit. |ˈkjuːniəs|, U.S. |ˈkjuniəs| [‹ German Cuneus (1865 or earlier) > comb. form.] A wedge-shaped lobule of the medial surface of the occipital lobe of the brain, located between the calcarine and parieto-occipital fissures.
