cucurbitin Zool.|kjuːˈkɜːbɪtɪn| [ad. L. cucurbitīnus pertaining to or like a gourd, f. cucurbita. In F. cucurbitin, -ain.] A name for each separated segment or proglottis of a tapeworm, from its resemblance to the seed of a gourd.
