‖ cubiculum|kjuːˈbɪkjʊləm| Pl. -a. [L. = sleeping-chamber, f. cubāre to lie down.] A sleeping-chamber. (Only jocose in modern use.) In Archæol., a burial-chamber in the Catacombs; also, a chapel or oratory attached to a church, esp. in a crypt.
