ˈcrow-flower A popular name for the buttercup (cf. crowfoot). b. Applied by Gerarde to the Ragged Robin (Lychnis Floscuculi); by Tannahill app. to the wild hyacinth or bluebell (Scilla nutans); also in some parts to Caltha palustris and Geranium sylvaticum.
