‖ Abraum Salts|ˈabraʊm sɒlts| [ad. Germ. Abraum-salze salts to be removed.] Mixed salts found above the pure rock-salt at Stassfurt in Prussia, and also in the Isle of Wight, once thought useless, now used for producing chloride of potassium.
