sparoid, a. and n. Ichth.|ˈspærɔɪd, ˈspeɪrɔɪd| [ad. mod.L. Sparoidēs, f. sparus sparus.] A. adj. Of or belonging to, characteristic of, the Sparidæ or sea-bream family.
