Coslettize, v.|ˈkɒzlɪtaɪz| Also coslettize. [f. the name of Thomas Watts Coslett + -ize.] trans. To protect (iron or steel) from corrosion by forming a coating of phosphate on the surface of the metal. So ˈCoslettized ppl. a., ˈCoslettizer, ˈCoslettizing.
