ˈsortileger Now rare. Also 5 sortyloger, -leger. [See prec. and -er. The form in -loger is based upon the med.L. sortilogus for sortilegus.] One who divines, chooses, or settles by drawing lots or otherwise; a diviner, fortune-teller.
