† quominus, quo minus Obs. Law. [L., ‘by which the less’ (viz. one may exercise a right, or perform a duty).] a. A writ to restrain a person from committing waste in a wood after granting ‘housebote and haybote’ to another. b. An Exchequer writ available for a steward or debtor to the King against one indebted to himself.
