1. A coming or meeting together, conjunction.
1578Banister Hist. Man v. 83 This elegant coiture of the braunches is made like halfe a circle. 1601R. Dolman tr. La Primaud. Fr. Acad. iii. (1618) 849 The greene Emeraud..sometimes happeneth to breake euen in the act of coiture.
