co-housing, n. Brit. |ˈkəʊhaʊzɪŋ|, U.S. |ˈkoʊˌhaʊzɪŋ| [‹ co- prefix + housing n.1: see quot. 1988.] A residential development in which individual households share some common facilities or amenities, and residents are communally responsible for managing the community.
