A member or adherent of the right-wing authoritarian Unión Nacional Sinarquista in Mexico, which was active between 1938 and 1960 (esp. in rural areas) and sought to restore the old order of the Catholic church and Spanish tradition, and opposed Communism, liberalism, and the policies imposed after the Revolution of 1911.
