clonazepam, n. Pharm.|kləʊˈneɪzɪpæm, -ˈnæz-| [f. clon- (prob. f. chloro-2 + nitro- + *-azepam.] A benzodiazepine, C15H10N3O3Cl , with anticonvulsant properties, given orally (as the hydrochloride) and by injection in the treatment of epilepsy and other conditions involving seizures.
