simazine|ˈsɪm-, ˈsaɪməziːn| Formerly also -in |-ɪn|. Also with capital initial. [f. sim- (ad. symmetric a.) + triazine.] A colourless crystalline compound, 2-chloro-4,6-bis(ethylamino)-1,3,5-triazine, C7H12N5Cl, which is a selective weedkiller applied as an emulsion or wettable powder.
