Siddur|ˈsɪdʊə(r)| Also Sidoor, Sidur, and with lower-case initial. Pl. Siddurim. [Heb. siddūr, lit. ‘order’.] A Jewish prayer book containing prayers and other information relevant to the daily liturgy. Cf. Machzor.
