citrullin(e Chem.|sɪˈtrʌlɪn, -aɪn| [f. med.L. citrull(us (see citrul) + -ine5.] An amino acid, α-amino-δ-carbamido-valeric acid, found in watermelons, and in living organisms concerned in the formation of urea from ornithine.
