‖ cinclis Zool.|ˈsɪŋklɪs| Pl. cinclides |ˈsɪŋklɪdiːz|. [ad. Gr. κιγκλίς latticed gate.] One of the openings in the bodies of some sea-anemones, probably serving for emission of the thread-cells.
