cimolite Min.|ˈsɪməʊlaɪt| [f. L. Cimōlia (Gr. κιµωλία (γῆ)), a soft earth found in the island of Cimolus, now Argentiera: see -ite.] A very soft hydrous silicate of alumina, white, grey, or reddish, allied to fuller's earth.
