chervonetz|ˈtʃɜːvənɛts| Also chervonets, tchervonetz. Pl. chervontsi, -sy, -zi. [Russ. chervónets, pl. chervóntsȳ.] A Soviet bank-note of the value of ten gold roubles, in circulation from 1922 to 1947.
