Sequestrene|sɪˈkwɛstriːn| Also sequestrene. [f. sequestration + -ene.] A proprietary term for preparations of ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid and its salts used as sequestering agents; spec. one containing sequestered iron for use on iron-deficient soils.
