Septinsular, a. (n.)|sɛpˈtɪnsjʊlə(r)| [f. L. septem (see septi-1) + insula island. Cf. the Fr. name Sept-îles.] Septinsular Republic, etc.: the Ionian Islands. Also as n. pl. the people of the Ionian Islands.
