sensori-|ˈsɛnsərɪ| used as combining form of sensor or sensory, chiefly in sensori-motor a., applied to nerves which are both sensory and motor; also to reflex actions which arise from stimulation of the organs of sense; also, that relates to activity involving both sensory and motor pathways; sensoriˈneural a., applied to defective hearing that is due to a lesion of the inner ear or auditory nerve.
