ˈsemiflex, v. [semi- 3.] trans. To bend into a position halfway between that of extension and that of complete flexure.
1835–6Todd's Cycl. Anat. I. 805/2 Supposing that a muscular effort equal to 20 would completely bend the elbow, one equal to 10 would semiflex it. 1846F. Brittan tr. Malgaigne's Man. Oper.
