‖ capucine Obs.|kapysin| [Fr.; fem. of capucin: see Capuchin.] 1. The French name of the Tropæolum (majus and minus) or Indian Cress, in England commonly known as Nasturtium. capucine capers: the pickled seeds of this plant.
