‖ capillaire|kapilɛr| [F. capillaire maidenhair fern, ad. L. capillāris of hair, capillaris herba the maidenhair.] A syrup or infusion of maidenhair fern (Adiantum capillus Veneris). b. A syrup flavoured with orange-flower water. Also syrup of capillaire.
