canted, ppl. a.|ˈkæntɪd| [f. cant n.1 and v.2 + -ed.] In various senses of cant v.2: tilted up, caused to lean from the perpendicular; having a sloping or slanting surface; bevelled; placed at an oblique angle; having the corners bevelled off.
