Brückner Meteorol.|ˈbrʏknə(r)| The name of Professor E. Brückner (1862–1927), German meteorologist, used attrib. to designate a climatic cycle, lasting about 35 years, of alternating cold, wet periods and warm, dry periods.

Lockyer pointed out that a cycle of about 35 years exists in the variations of the interval from one sun-spot minimum to the succeeding maximum...
