bronchotome Surg.|ˈbrɒŋkətəʊm| [mod. f. Gr. βρόγχος bronchus + -τοµος cutting, cutter; cf. F. bronchotome.] A knife used for bronchotomy; also, a pair of scissors for opening the bronchi in post mortem examinations.
