bromize, -ise, v.|ˈbrəʊmaɪz| [f. brom-ine + -ize.] trans. To treat, compound, impregnate, or infuse with bromine; in Photography, to prepare (a plate) with bromine or a bromide. Hence ˈbromized ppl. a., ˈbromizing.
