† sciaˈtherical, a. Obs. Forms: 7 (sciofericall), scia-, sciotherical, -tericall. [Formed as prec. + -al1.] Concerned with the recording of the shadows cast by the planets, esp. that of the sun as a means of finding the hour of the day.
