brachycephalic, a.|ˌbrækɪsɪˈfælɪk| Also -kephalic. [f. brachy- + Gr. κεϕαλή head: cf. κεϕαλικός of or pertaining to the head.] lit. Short-headed: used in Ethnol. to denote skulls of which the breadth is at least four-fifths of the length: opposed to dolichocephalic.
