Interplanetary Soc. XV. 166 Dr. Krafft A. Ehricke, of the guided missile group of Convair, has suggested that a weakly-powered satellite might be placed in a lower orbit than that required for an unpowered satellite, and used the word ‘satelloid’ to describe such a vehicle when discussing it at the I.A.F. meeting in Copenhagen.
