boil wash, n. Chiefly Brit. Brit. |ˈbɔɪl ˌwɒʃ|, U.S. |ˈbɔɪl ˌwɔʃ|, |ˈbɔɪl ˌwɑʃ| [‹ boil-wash v.] A setting or programme on a washing machine which cleans using very hot or near-boiling water; a wash using this setting.
