punctigerous, a. Zool.|pʌŋkˈtɪdʒərəs| [f. L. punct-um point + -ger- bearing + -ous.] Applied to the eyes of some molluscs, and other invertebrates: Consisting of mere eye-spots without a lens: opp. to lentigerous.
