ˈprestable, a. Sc. Now rare. Also 7 -ible. [a. obs. F. prestable (mod.F. prêtable) lendable, that may be lent (Cotgr.), also, ready to afford or give (16th c. in Godef.), f. prester: see prest v.1 and -able.] Capable of being paid or advanced; payable; capable of being performed or discharged.
