samsonite2 Min.|ˈsæmsənaɪt| [ad. G. samsonit (Werner & Fraatz 1910, in Centbl. f. Mineral. 331), f. the name Samson (see quot. 1910) + -it -ite1.] A sulphide of silver, antimony, and manganese which occurs as black prisms with a metallic lustre.
