binghi, Binghi Austral. slang.|ˈbɪŋgaɪ| Also bingy, etc. [Aboriginal.] An Aboriginal. Recorded earlier in the general sense ‘brother’: e.g. 1831 R. Dawson Present State of Australia 221, I was received by them with the greatest cordiality, and greeted by the term bingeye, or brother.
