bi-level, a. and n.|ˈbaɪˌlɛvəl| Also bilevel. [f. bi-2 + level n.] A. adj. Having or functioning on two levels, arranged on two planes; spec. (N. Amer.) designating a style of two-storey house in which the lower storey is partially sunk below ground level, and the main entrance is placed on an intermediate level between the two storeys.
