▪ I. bendy, a. Her.|ˈbɛndɪ| [ad. OF. bendé, mod.F. bandé: see bend n.2] Of a shield: Divided diagonally into an even number (usually six) of equal divisions, coloured alternately. bendy-wavy: when the bends or bendlets have wavy margins.
