bathymetric, a.|bæθɪˈmɛtrɪk| [f. Gr. βαθύ-ς deep + µετρικός of measuring; cf. bathometer.] Of or pertaining to the measurement of depth, spec. to the vertical range of distribution of plants and animals in the sea.
