auriculate, ppl. a.|ɔːˈrɪkjʊlət| [f. L. auricula auricle + -ate2.] Furnished with auricles or ear-like appendages. 1. Bot. Of leaves: Having at the base a pair of small, blunt projections, shaped like the lower lobe of the human ear.
