Riga1|ˈriːgə| The name of a Baltic seaport, the capital of Latvia, used attrib. in the names of certain products exported from there, as Riga deal, Riga fir, Riga hemp, Riga oak, etc. Riga balsam, an essential oil (also called Carpathian balsam) obtained by distillation from Pinus Cembra.
