rhomboclase Min.|ˈrɒmbəʊkleɪz, -s| [ad. Hungarian rhomboklas (J. S. Krenner 1891, in Magyar tudományos Akad. Értes. II. 96), f. rhombo- rhombo- + Gr. κλάσ-ις breaking, cleavage (cf. orthoclase).] A hydrated ferric acid sulphate, HFe(SO4)2.4H2O, found as colourless or pale-coloured thin tabular crystals.
