Congr. Géol. Internat. (1904) II. 570): see -blast], applied to the structure or texture of a metamorphic rock, or to the rock itself, in which small crystals of an original mineral occur within crystals of its metamorphic product (cf. poikilitic a. 2); ˈpoikiloˌcyte, a name for red blood-corpuscles of irregular shape, elongated, pyriform, etc. (Syd.
