Arctalian, a. Zoogeogr.|ɑːkˈteɪlɪən| [f. mod.L. Arctalia (f. Gr. ἄρκτος: cf. Arctic + ἅλς sea) + -an.] Belonging to or designating the marine region called Arctalia, comprising the seas of the northern hemisphere as far south as the isocryme of 44° Fahr.
