pinic, a. Chem.|ˈpaɪnɪk| [ad. F. pinique, f. L. pīnus pine n.2: see -ic.] Of, pertaining to, or derived from the pine-tree; spec. in pinic acid, an acid (C9H14O4) obtained from pine resin.
