picryl Chem.|ˈpɪkrɪl, ˈpɪkraɪl| [f. Gr. πικρ-ός bitter, or immed. f. picr-ic + -yl.] †1. Also picril, picryle. [a. F. picryle (A. Laurent 1844, in Rev. sci. et industr. XVIII. 201).] (See quot. 1866.) Obs.
