† architricline Obs. [a. F. architriclin, also in OF. archedeclin, ad. L. architriclīnus, a. Gr. ἀρχιτρίκλῑνος (in N.T.), f. ἀρχι- chief + τρίκλῑνος the triple couch of a banquet-room.] The president or ‘ruler’ of a feast. (Taken in mediæval legend as proper name of a rich lord.)
