philanthropinist, n. (a.)|fɪlænˈθrəʊpɪnɪst| [f. prec. + -ist.] An advocate of the ‘natural system’ of education of Basedow; also, a pupil at a philanthropine. Also attrib. or as adj. Of or pertaining to philanthropinism.
